Swar Sandhya – August 2023

Sharda Kala Kendra presents Swar Sandhya – an evening of Karaoke style singing of Hindi film songs with Poly Varghese who plays the Mohan Veena.

Poly was initially trained at Kerala Kalamandalam, Kerala’s paramount centre for training in classical arts where he learnt to play the Mridangam. A chance meeting with Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt inspired him to take up the Mohan Veena, which he has since played in concerts around the world.

Please arrive at the venue by 7:45pm for a sharp 8pm start.
