This Bharatanatyam performance expresses ‘Nachiyar Thirumozhi’ through dance.
It is an ode to the courage of Kothai, an 8th-century Thamizh poet, who broke the shackles of patriarchy in the name of divine love; her selfless love for her Kannan, preserver and protector of the universe.
