Sharda Kala Kendra presents Swar Sandhya – an evening of Karaoke style singing of Hindi film songs with Veena player – Seshadri Varadarajan, accompanied by Vivek on Mridangam.
Seshadri first learnt from Guru Shri Vijayendar Rao, and is now a student of Melbourne’s Shri Gopinath Iyer. In his 14 years in Melbourne, he has performed extensively at cultural events, music schools concerts and with music bands. He has to his credit, several music albums as both a composer and performer.
Vivek has been learning the Mridangam for over a decade under the tutelage of Melbourne’s Sri Sridhar Chari (Laya Vidhya Centre). He regularly performs in music and dance concerts around Melbourne, accompanying vocal, violin and flute recitals by local as well as international artists
